Hedge End Sector Community Speedwatch (CSW) Update - June.
The CSW team managed to complete 5 session this month. 6 were planned but one session was cut short due to the very hot weather and no stats were gathered.
Whilst CSW is primarily an educational scheme, the data that is collected is then shared with our Neighbourhood police officers and the Roads Policing Unit, so that they know where to best allocate enforcement resources.
If you know of any roads that you think would benefit from CSW, please let us know by giving us the ‘what 3 words’ location on the road and the times of days that you believe this is a problem. We need both of these, in order to review a potential site for CSW sessions.
OUR TEAM NEEDS MORE VOLUNTEERS –
The Hedge End Sector CSW covers - Hedge End, West End, Botley, Bursledon, Netley and Hamble.
Can you spare just a few hours a month? If you are interested, aged 18 or above and would like further information on the scheme, please email Citizens in Policing at speedwatch@hampshire.police.uk or use this link to fill out the application form - Community SpeedWatch Application.
Many Thanks, PCSO Mica Woodcock 12948. Hedge End Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) – West End PCSO & SPOC for the Hedge End CSW.
